The anatomy, pathology and pathophysiology of the arteries of the head and neck are described and illustrated in detail. In addition, other methods of vascular imaging (in particular, CT and MRI with contrast) are also covered in detail.<\/p>\n<p>The second part (C) discusses the advantages and disadvantages of ultrasound in comparison with other methods of diagnosing vascular pathology of the central nervous system based on descriptions of 30 clinical cases grouped by the level of complexity of neurosonographic diagnosis and interpretation of its results.
